Hotel Oleander lies at the heart of the peaceful natural environment of the Strunjan salt pans, but in the direct vicinity of local tourist spots Portorož, Piran, Izola and Koper.
A few steps from the hotel there are 2 well-kept beaches, bordered by a delightful grove of pine trees. They are free of charge for the hotel's guests. A few km further there is also a hotel which offers free entrance to their indoor swimming pool filled with heated seawater and also free sauna use for the guests of the Oleander.
